Jay – Group Practice Manager

Hi, I’m the Group Practice Manager at the Warren House Group and as well as a Qualified Veterinary Nurse. I am responsible for the day to day running of our 4 branches, managing the nurse and reception teams, and when needed I also provide nurse cover within the group.  I have been employed within small animal Veterinary practices since 1994 and I returned to Warren House to take up a management role in December 2015.  As with most of our staff I have had plenty of pets who have been acquired through working in practice – I currently own a three legged dog called Tryke, three cats and five guinea pigs!  I feel very lucky to be working with such a friendly group of colleagues and I look forward to meeting you and your pets at one of our branches very soon!

My name is Sandra, I’m Branch Manager here at Walderslade, I’ve been with the Warren House Veterinary Group for 6 years.  We are a busy practice with a great team of caring and dedicated individuals, I consider myself lucky to be a part of it.  Outside of work I have a busy household with 3 beautiful dogs and a very brave cat who keep me busy. I enjoy long walks and days out at the seaside, which is their favourite activity.


Sandra – Branch Manager, The Oaks Branch

Hi, my name is Sandra and I am the Branch Manager at The Oaks. I have worked for the Warren House Group for 14 years. I enjoy the varied aspect of my job and of course love to meet so many clients and their beautiful pets! I have a 14 year old Chihuahua called Harvey and have kept chihuahuas since I was little.


Gemma Vann – Branch Manager & RVN, Warren House Branch

My name is Gemma and have been nursing for 15 years. I previously spent 6 years working in referral centres but am now happy to be working as the Branch Nurse Manager and Clinical Coach at the Warren House Veterinary Surgery seeing the everyday aspects of veterinary medicine. I have 3 cats at home, all whom have come to me via my job. I love working with my friends and colleagues at WH and will miss them, the clients and pets when I go on maternity leave at the end of the year. Even though some work days can be extra busy myself and the team always manage to get through with the help of cake.

My name is Wendy. I am the Branch Manager at Christmas Lane and I have been with the Warren House Group for 15 years. I have two cats, Maureen and Harpo and whenever I can, I love to visit the Highland National Park in Scotland to see the Polar Bears and Scottish Wildcats.

Hi, I’m Simon. I came from New Zealand for a ‘couple years travelling’ in 2006 and have been in the UK ever since!. I enjoy working alongside the Warren House Veterinary Group and I’ve grown very fond of the people and pets of the Medway area.



Kelly – Branch Nurse Manager, Walderslade Branch


My name is Kelly. I have worked at Walderslade for 20 years starting out as a student nurse in 1996 before qualifying. I am now Branch nursing manager and Clinical Coach. I enjoy my work and love seeing my students grow and develop their skills and as they work towards becoming Qualified Veterinary nurses. Home life is busy with my two children plus an assortment of cats, dogs and horses!


Roz – Branch Nurse Manager, The Oaks Branch

I have worked in the veterinary field for 7 years including working at a mixed animal practice where I got to work with horses. I do not currently have any pets due to living in rented accommodation but have always grown up having dogs at my family home and still help my mum to look after our little Patterdale terrier named Parsley. I enjoy going on holidays and visiting my family who live in Sweden.


Emma – RVN, Warren House Branch

My name is Emma and I am a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse. I have been working within the Warren House group since 2009 and have been qualified since 2003. I really love nursing the in-patients and also the medical side. My second passion can be found on a Friday taking care of the orthopaedic patients in theatre. I have spent time working at both an out of hours emergency service and at a Referral centre to gain further specialist knowledge. I have two dogs called Betsy and Boris I look forward to meeting you all and your pets.


Sally – RVN, Warren House Branch

Hi I’m Sally, I’ve been working as a veterinary nurse at Warren House for over 20years. In my spare time I enjoy dog walks with Teasel, Dilly and the rest of the family. I have a love for all things Disney and its lucky I enjoy my job as quite often the patients and strays come home with me and then end up staying. At work I particularly love meeting all the new puppies with their owners and watching them grow during their routine visits and nurse check ups.


Catriona – RVN,Oaks Branch


My name is Catriona. I’m a Registered Veterinary Nurse and work at the Oaks branch! I have 3 cats, a very old dog, 3 rabbits and a tortoise! I enjoy all aspects of my work but particularly like laboratory work and exotics and completed my Veterinary Nursing certificate in Exotics in 2014. At weekends I enjoy spending time with my family and going on walks with our dog.


Leanne – RVN, Walderslade Branch & Christmas Lane Branch

My name is Leanne and I have worked for the Warren House Veterinary Group since August 2012. I love my job and meeting clients and their special members of the family. I feel lucky to work as part of the group amongst lovely, caring and hard working people. I have three loveable, loyal Labradors Jessie,Eric and Monty and four greedy guinea pigs: Kevin, Black Pudding, Apple Sauce and Pork Chop. I enjoy taking my dogs out to the beach and the countryside for walks. I enjoy going to concerts and watching football.

My name is Jacqui and, following training at our Walderslade branch, I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2012 (late starter !). Our team here is friendly and we all enjoy the daily diversity of working in a busy practice. At home I have an 18 year old cat called Caesar who point blankly refuses to let me take any waifs and strays home…much to the relief of my husband!!

My name is Sarah, I started at Warren House as work experience in 2001 and progressed to qualified veterinary nurse. I have recently gained my certificate in emergency and critical care. I love working at Walderslade vets, where there is a family feel and a really great team. I enjoy all aspects of veterinary nursing, and have an interest in emergency and critical care. I have a rescue German shepherd called Roxy.


Briony – RVN, Walderslade Branch

My name is Briony and I have worked for the Warren House Group since 2007. I qualified as a RVN in 2014 at our Walderslade branch. I have enjoyed every minute of it, working with a fantastic team of vets, nurses, and receptionists. In 2012 a stray jack Russell cross puppy was brought into the surgery and came home with me for the night as a foster. Now his name is Calico Jack and has lived with me ever since!

Hello, my name is Lisa, and I’m one of the qualified, registered nurses here. I have worked in veterinary practice for about 20 years, and have been a qualified nurse for 13 years. I have worked in many practices over the years, and find Walderslade a really lovely practice to work in, with a really friendly, dedicated team. I thoroughly enjoy my job, and would not want to do anything else!!


Nicola Russel – SVN, Oaks Branch

I’m Nicola, a student veterinary nurse. I have been working at Warren House for just over a year and undertaking my student training at Canterbury College. I enjoy working with my colleagues, learning new things in the work place and studying in my spare time. At home I have 5 cats and a snake. I look forward to qualifying next year.



Alex – Receptionist, Warren House Branch


My name is Alex and I have been part of the Warren House Group since November 2015.
I currently work in reception but eventually would like to go on to do veterinary nursing! I have my own cat called Sasha and I have a horse called Badger (who is a bit too big to bring to work with me)

Hi, my name is Mandy and I’m the Head Receptionist at The Oaks. I have worked for the company for over ten years and love the variety of the job. I have four Siberian Huskeys and also four cats from Cats Protection Bredhurst who we work very closely with.

Hi my name is Maureen and I am the Accounts Manager for the Warren House Group. I have worked for the company for just over four years and deal with all aspects of the group’s financial business. My role is challenging and no two days are the same… just the way I like it.


My name is Julia Kearney and I have been with the practice since it opened in November 1982. Currently I am the Practice Manager, but over the years have covered all aspects of the work involved and meet lots of lovely clients and their pets. I have 3 dogs, a patterdale terrier who is 15 years old, a working sheepdog who is 5.5 years old and a rescue border collie who is nearly 2 years. We are away most weekends competing at either agility or flyball.
